A multinational Oil & Gas company is seeking a Senior Accountant in Milan, Italy, to oversee general accounting, financial closings, and taxation. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in similar roles within multinational firms, strong knowledge of EU VAT, and excellent Excel skills. This role offers the opportunity to thrive in a dynamic environment with responsibilities in budgeting and reporting. Competenze

• 7–10 years in AFC / Senior Accounting roles in multinational companies.
• Experience with external audits (Big 4 preferred).
• Able to work in a small, agile team.

Mansioni

• Manage the general ledger and monthly, quarterly, annual closings.
• Prepare statutory financial statements and support consolidated reporting.
• Oversee EU / foreign VAT, intercompany flows, AR/AP, and treasury.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, KPI monitoring, and continuous process improvement.

Conoscenze

Strong knowledge of EU VAT

Fluent English

Excellent Excel skills

Hands-on, proactive
