The Senior Accountant will be based in Milan, joining the South Europe Accounting Team to manage French entities’ accounting, VAT and statutory reporting. You will oversee AP/AR, cash management, month-end close and intercompany reconciliations, collaborating with local advisors and external auditors.

Fluency in English and Italian is required; French is a plus. The ideal candidate holds a degree in accounting/finance and has at least 3 years in general and tax accounting.

Competenze

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent.
• Min 3 years of general and tax accounting experience.
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping and reporting.
• Experience with cash management, assets and payments.
• Fluent in English and Italian; French is a plus.
• Knowledge of French GAAP and local regulations preferred but not mandatory.

Mansioni

• Manage day-to-day accounting for the Group's French entities.
• Oversee AP, AR, sales, purchases and non-trade payables.
• Support cash management, payments and financial reporting.
• Maintain fixed assets, payroll postings and month-end accruals.
• Perform bank and intercompany reconciliations.

We are seeking a SENIOR ACCOUNTANT with expertise in the French market to join a multinational company.

Ideal Profile:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent;
• Minimum 3 years of experience in general and tax accounting;
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping and reporting;
• Experience with finance, asset management and payment processes;
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, reliability and problem-solving skills;
• Advanced knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Excel;
• Fluent in English and Italian, French is a plus;
• Knowledge of French GAAP and local accounting/tax regulations is preferred, but not mandatory.

Job Description:

The selected candidate, based in Milan and part of the South Europe Accounting Team, the will:

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities for the Group's French entities;
• Oversee AP, AR, sales, purchases and non-trade payables;
• Support cash management, payments and financial reporting;
• Maintain and review financial records, including fixed assets, payroll postings and month-end accruals;
• Perform bank and intercompany reconciliations;
• Manage general accounting, VAT returns and statutory tax reporting, in collaboration with local advisors;
• Liaise with external auditors and support the resolution of accounting matters;
• Contribute to process improvements, internal controls and finance projects.
• Operational support in the organization of meetings, events and corporate activities.

Availability: Immediate or to be agreed.

Work location: Province of Milan (Sesto San Giovanni and nearby towns in the northern Milan area).
