Experteer Italy seeks an experienced backend software engineer to design, develop, and integrate telecom-oriented platforms in a hybrid role. You will lead cross-functional project teams, mentor colleagues, and influence software design while adopting new technologies.

You will work on edge-to-cloud systems, shaping resilient distributed software and networking solutions, and grow within a globally collaborative culture.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• Typically 6–10 years of experience in backend or distributed software systems.
• Fluent in English and Italian.
• Strong knowledge of backend software development languages.
• Solid Linux experience and networking fundamentals.
• Good understanding of IP networking (Layer 2/3).
• Experience with Git and issue-tracking systems.
• Experience with software testing, debugging, and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Mansioni

• Lead multiple project teams in end-to-end design, development, testing, and integration of complex software products.
• Manage relationships with internal and outsourced partners for software design and delivery.
• Review designs and activities for compliance with standards and provide actionable feedback.
• Provide domain-specific leadership and contribute to cross-organization initiatives.
• Drive innovation by integrating new technologies into projects and guide mentoring of less-experienced staff.
