A few examples of your responsibilities

• Run security audits, identifying security loopholes and opportunities to enhance the effectiveness of security strategies.
• Perform internal vulnerability testing, uncovering any weaknesses in the systems and implementing countermeasures to ensure the integrity of all data.
• Identify company‑wide security challenges. Design and implement solutions to strengthen protection and streamline security practices across IT and infrastructure areas.
• Collaborate closely with privacy experts to ensure the most robust and complete privacy compliance strategy possible, and to translate regulations into tech implementations.
• Stay up to date with security trends and threats. Share knowledge with Spooners to ensure data protection best practices and help foster a security‑focused culture across the company.

For a candidate that we assess as possessing considerable relevant experience, the salary on offer tends to be between £110,389 and £194,964 in London, and €105,737 and €143,330 in Madrid, Milan and Warsaw. Compensation varies by location and expected impact, and grows rapidly as you gain experience and translate it into greater contributions. You can also receive some of your pay in company equity at a discounted price, thus participating in the value creation we achieve together. If relocating to Italy, you may enjoy a 50% tax cut.
