We are seeking a passionate and talented Climate Scientist to support research and contribute to the development and investigation of innovative and cutting-edge scientific studies in the field of climate science. This position is within the Centre for Maritime Research and Experimentation (CMRE), an organization of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). CMRE is a research facility focusing on maritime domain S&T solutions for defence and security needs.
All CMRE personnel are expected to conduct themselves in accordance with the NATO Code of Conduct and the core values of integrity, impartiality, loyalty, accountability, and professionalism. The duties are performed in an office, laboratory, workshop environment or on-board Centre ships. Slightly undesirable working conditions may apply.
The Centre for Maritime Research and Experimentation (CMRE) is part of the NATO Science and Technology Organization (STO). CMRE conducts scientific research and technology development and delivers innovative field-tested S&T solutions to address defence and security needs of the Alliance.
Salary: 4,464.35 EUR Monthly (2025 values; subject to adjustments). Grade ABCL A1 / NATO G11. NATO Civilian Personnel Regulations (NCPR) with allowances, insurances, and expatriate considerations.
