Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors in school facilities.
• Dust and wipe surfaces, furniture, windowsills, and fixtures.
• Empty and sanitize waste bins and replace liners.
• Clean and disinfect toilets, sinks, and restroom fixtures.
• Replenish supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels.
• Ensure restrooms are hygienic and odor-free.
• Sanitize high-touch surfaces regularly to prevent the spread of germs.
• Perform deep-cleaning tasks as scheduled (carpets, windows, floor stripping and waxing).
• Handle spills and accidents promptly and safely.
• Use cleaning equipment properly and report malfunctions.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies as needed.
• Follow procedures for handling cleaning chemicals and hazards; wear PPE.
• Maintain neat and organized storage areas.
• Report maintenance issues to the supervisor promptly.
• Communicate effectively with staff and follow daily task lists.
