Job summary

Upstate Caring Partners is seeking a School Aide to join our educational team in Central New York. You will work with classroom teachers and therapists to help students achieve individualized goals.

The role focuses on assisting with classroom activities, supporting field trips, personal care, meals, and data documentation, while fostering a supportive environment. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid NY Driver’s License required.
• Basic computer skills including Adobe Acrobat, Word and Outlook are needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom activities tailored to each student’s IEP.
• Support students during community outings and field trips.
• Assist with personal care and mealtime routines.
• Help with lunch preparation and cleanup.
• Maintain classroom organization and cleanliness.
• Document observations and data accurately.
• Collaborate with therapists to implement therapy goals.
• Create a positive, person-centered environment for every student.

Qualifications
