BaxEnergy in Sicily, Italy is seeking an Application Engineer to support renewable energy data integration, HMIs configuration and data visualization using Python, SQL and Excel. You will collaborate across teams, gather customer specifications, and contribute to scalable software for energy plants and charging stations.

The role requires 3+ years in application engineering, a degree in computer engineering or IT, strong English (B2+), and a passion for renewable energy data.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in the Application Engineering field.
• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or information technology.
• Proven experience in application engineering or related role; renewable energy data focus a plus.
• Deep understanding of data storage and communication protocols.
• Proficiency in data interfaces analysis and HMIs configuration.

Responsabilités

• Lead application engineering efforts for renewable energy technologies, providing critical insights and recommendations.
• Lead the development, configuration and maintenance of new HMIs and data models visualizations.
• Collaborate with the team to analyze and manage data from renewable energy technologies, providing valuable insights and recommendations.
• Engage with customers to gather specifications for configuration of the applications.
• Utilize Python, SQL and Excel to process and configure applications.
• Identify networking issues and inform stakeholders with solutions.
• Prepare detailed technical project documentation and maintain records.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices through research.

• Familiarity with renewable technologies is a plus.
