Job summary

Blo Blow Dry Bar in Napoli is seeking energetic team members to support a fast-paced beauty environment. You will greet guests, assist stylists, and help maintain a premium guest experience while promoting hair packages and products.

Perfect for cosmetology students or anyone eager to learn in a high-end setting, with opportunities to advance across roles and locations. Training and growth are emphasized within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Strong customer-service orientation and ability to make guests feel valued.

• Proficient with Mac computers is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Be the first and last impression for guests and act as Blo brand ambassador.
• Maintain a professional, clean, and welcoming work environment.
• Participate in routine up-training and skill advancement.
• Assist in cross-training for makeup/artistry or senior stylist roles.
• Contribute to maximizing bookings and smooth appointment flow.

This is a great opportunity for a cosmetology student - or any student interested in learning about working in the world of beauty - to get in at the ground floor and experience working in a fast-paced, high-end environment where we roll out the "pink" carpet for every guest.

Requirements

• All shifts available starting October 2026
• Enjoy making people feel beautiful, special, and valued
• Collaborate well with stylists in a fun, professional work environment
• Understand the importance of maintaining a squeaky-clean work environment
• Responsible for creating and maintaining a superior Guest experience
• Comfortable working with scheduling/booking software (will train)
• Oversee the management of the appointment calendar, optimizing the schedule and maximizing bookings
• Enjoy discussing and selling hair packages/memberships and beauty products
• Support a team of hair stylists and makeup artists - with opportunities to advance to either role

You Must Have:

• The ability to work weekends and be flexible with your schedule (additional hours may be available during season)
• A passion for the beauty and cosmetology industry and making people feel better
• Salon experience is an asset but not required
• Solid technical skills and experience using a Mac computer preferred but not required

• Opportunity: the potential to be cross-trained on additional services such as makeup artist, stylist or be promoted to senior hairstylist or bar manager roles

Compensation: $13.50 per hour

I truly love working for Blo! The owner for the location in Franklin Lakes is truly a genuine, sweet person. Our manager is amazing and treats the staff fairly.
