Your Mission

As Sales Manager, reporting to the Sales Director, you will support the development and implementation of the commercial strategy and practices across PV, EE, BESS. You’ll develop opportunities, manage proposals, and ultimately play a key role in winning projects whilst ensuring appropriate contractual terms and financial returns are secured. You’ll be part of the commercial team and according to the national scope of this role, regular travels will be expected within Italy, and, occasionally, outside of the Country.

A few examples of your responsibilities
  • Spot and seize new business opportunities — always staying one step ahead of the market.
  • Build and manage a strong opportunity pipeline to hit (and exceed!) quarterly targets.
  • Support the commercial team to create strategic alliances and develop new market channels.
  • Shape the annual sales strategy, bringing insights and innovation to the planning process.
  • Drive performance by ensuring top productivity levels aligned with group KPIs.
  • Help refine our brand positioning and identify ideal customer targets that make GreenYellow stand out.
  • Contribute to marketing initiatives that boost visibility and engagement across all platforms.
  • Adopt and champion new technologies and ways of working, keeping us agile, data-driven, and future-ready.
What we look for
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical or Energy Engineering, or Economics as alternative.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in commercial teams in a reference decentralized energy company (B2B market).
  • Basic skills of business plans and project finance and familiarity with long term contracts.
  • Interpersonal skills. Ability to identify customer needs, proven competences in managing multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
  • Reasoning ability. Given the necessary knowledge, you can solve complex problems. You think from first principles, and structure your ideas sharply. You resist the influence of biases. You identify and take care of the details that matter.
