Location: Remote, but our new colleague has to be based in Italy.

Duration: Full time

Must have: experience from a similar position in ticketing/travel industry.

The Challenge

Ventrata is excited to announce we are recruiting for a passionate Sales Manager to drive new sales growth in the UK and Ireland. Our product is changing the way tours and tickets are sold across the planet.

This new role will be integral to our growth trajectory. If you're excited about working in a fast-growth scale‑up environment on cutting‑edge products that can remove friction and maximize revenue opportunities in the leisure and tourism industries, then this is the role for you.

This role is remote and can be based anywhere in Europe. For consideration, it's expected that you should be based in, or able to work during, the office hours of the target region. Additionally, you will be traveling to your sales territory for regular customer visit at least once a month.

The ideal candidate will be a objective‑focused sales management hero who is looking for a fresh challenge. You will be enthusiastic, engaging and with high attention to detail. You will need to keep up with the fast pace of development and thrive in a scale‑up environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Targets and Growth:
    • Responsible for delivery of new business.
    • Delivering against business targets and objectives.
    • Management of the sales process end‑to‑end in your assigned territory.
    • Identifying opportunities in the market to position the product effectively and enhance the value proposition to your target market.
    • Collaboration with a sales development representative.
  • Client Success and Relationship Management:
    • Building and maintaining strong, long‑lasting customer relationships.
    • Ensuring that client success is integrated into the sales process from first point of contact.
  • Collaboration with Sales Support Functions:
    • Liaise with marketing, technical sales, lead generation, and sales operations to ensure a unified and strategic sales approach.
  • Market Analysis and Strategy:
    • Analyse regional market trends and discover new opportunities for growth.
    • Communicate closely with marketing and product management to create strategies to drive sales.
  • Reporting and Forecasting:
    • Provide timely revenue projections to management and deliver a predictable pipeline to drive forecast accuracy.
Qualifications
  • Native Italian Speaker.
  • Can demonstrate history of achieving quotas of $500k+ selling into enterprise markets.
  • SaaS sales experience, preferably with reservation technology for the tours & attractions industry.
  • Sales account planning skills and the patience to deliver against the plan.
  • Display creative and analytical problem‑solving skills with an unrelenting passion for achieving revenue targets.
  • Knowledge of selling frameworks such as SPIN and MEDDIC.
  • >Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Be a self‑starter who is comfortable working remotely and can manage their time, pipeline and direct efforts of a BDR.
