A leading manufacturer of construction machinery seeks a Sales Manager - Crane to enhance customer relations and drive sales across Italy. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business and 3+ years of relevant sales experience. This role requires strong technical knowledge of cranes and excellent communication skills. The position entails extensive travel across Italy to engage with customers and support sales activities.

Reporting to : Area Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular visits to customers, ensuring strong market coverage across Italy.
  • Create, manage, and update customer data in the CRM / database system.
  • Develop public relations and maintain reliable long‑term relationships with key customers.
  • Identify new business opportunities and follow up on inquiries and orders.
  • Collect project information to support sales activities and analyze competitor data to adjust strategies.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of regional sales plans to achieve sales targets.
  • Lead or support commercial negotiations for key crane projects to secure regional business objectives.
  • Support financing processes and follow up on payment collection when required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; relevant experience can substitute for education.
  • 3+ years of experience in sales of cranes, construction machinery, or lifting equipment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of cranes and lifting applications.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Italy.
  • Self‑motivated, results‑oriented, and able to work independently.
