A global chemical group is seeking a Sales Manager who will oversee direct accounts and distributors, providing technical support and developing business strategies. The ideal candidate has a degree in a scientific field, at least 6 years of experience in CASE applications, and is fluent in English. This position offers a hybrid work location, allowing for remote and office-based options in northern Milan.

Competenze

  • At least 6 years’ experience in CASE applications business, preferably silicones/elastomers/polyurethanes.
  • Technical understanding with knowledge of different applications.
  • Comfortable in working in an intercultural context.

Mansioni

  • Manage direct accounts, distributors, and local agents.

  • Work closely with the commercial team to develop business.

SALES MANAGER CASE

Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the General Manager Italy and functionally to the Line of Business Director based in Germany, he / she will manage direct accounts, distributors and local agents.

The Sales Manager will be responsible for providing technical support and professional advice on existing and new products to current clients and prospects, working closely with the commercial team to develop the business.

Requirements
  • Degree in a scientific or technical field
  • Fluent in English
  • At least 6 years’ experience on CASE applications business, preferably silicones and / or elastomers and / or polyurethanes and / or moulding).
  • Technical understanding with knowledge of different applications
  • Proactive in proposing new products to develop new solutions
  • Solid experience with managing larger accounts and distributors
  • Strong ability to identify customer and market needs
  • Excellent skills in filtering and communicating needs to the central organisation; high level of conceptual and strategy skills
  • Comfortable in working in an intercultural context and matrix organization
  • Target and business number oriented; strong business and customer development skills with a high level of customer intimacy
  • Team player, positive thinking, “winning” spirit

Work location : Hybrid : both remote working or office-based (north of Milan) options available, willing to travel across Italy and EMEA
