Sales Manager - Energy Efficiency (C&I Cooling & Heat Pumps)

My client is a prominent player in the energy transition, dedicated to driving sustainable solutions across Europe, Latin America, Southeast Asia, the Indian Ocean, and Africa. They specialise in innovative renewable energy projects, with a strong focus on Commercial & Industrial (C&I) cooling and heat pump solutions within the energy efficiency sector.

As part of their ambitious expansion in Europe, my client is seeking a Sales Manager to drive the commercial development of C&I cold and heat pump projects in Italy. This role will report directly to the Italy Chief Commercial Officer and will focus on identifying new business opportunities, engaging clients, and leading project negotiations while also performing quick pre-feasibility studies.

Key Responsibilities :

Contribute to the company’s Commercial Strategy within the C&I cooling and heat pump sector.

Proactively identify business opportunities, establish commercial relationships, and engage with potential clients and partners.

Conduct technical-commercial visits and assess project feasibility based on technical and financial parameters.

Develop tailored cooling and heat pump solutions in collaboration with the Operations Department and prepare compelling technical-economic proposals.

Present proposals to clients and lead contract negotiations to secure successful project agreements.

Independently perform pre-feasibility studies using technical expertise or through a network of equipment providers and installers.

Requirements :

Engineering or technical academic background.

5 - 10 years of technical-commercial experience in industrial service companies (engineering firms, energy audit companies, Energy Service Companies, equipment manufacturers, etc.).

Strong knowledge of C&I cooling and heat pump solutions (essential).

Familiarity with HVAC, lighting, and compressed air solutions is a plus but not the main focus.

Other energy efficiency solutions such as CHP, biomass, and PV are not within the scope of this role.

A strong network of equipment providers and installers is highly valued.

Proactive, autonomous, and commercially driven, with excellent client engagement skills.
