Competenze

  • 3-5 years of technical solution sales experience in a medium-large organization.

  • Able to manage complex price lists and cost structures.

Position Overview

The role is IMR Sales Manager responsible for leading the tendering process, managing the IMR sales opportunity pipeline, and delivering annual sales targets for the Inspection Maintenance and Repair (IMR) team operating in the Submarine Power Cable business.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the tendering process and communicate the strategy internally.
  • Track and manage the IMR sales opportunity pipeline from project development to contract closure.
  • Deliver annual sales targets while achieving and exceeding the sales budget.
  • Conduct customer visits to understand challenges and needs.
  • Prioritize opportunities that provide the best chance of conversion to support the Business Unit strategy.
  • Provide commercial recommendations for proposals reflecting market conditions.
  • Develop, establish and manage regular reports on sales market and competitor activity.
  • Reinforce and protect the Prysmian brand image.
  • Maintain bilateral communication flow with market and business to build positive client relationships.
  • Resolve disputes across all projects internally and externally as required.
  • Support project managers on commercial matters and client inquiries during project execution.
  • Manage handover to execution teams.
  • Define and implement improvement actions derived from lessons learned.
  • Foster an effective working relationship between Sales and the functions within the business.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical), Economics or related scientific discipline.
  • 3‑5 years of technical solution or project sales experience in a medium‑large worldwide organization.
  • Experience in EPCI companies and/or cable installation (submarine and/or land) preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel; VBA skill is a real asset.
  • Able to manage complex price lists and cost structures.
  • Strong commercial negotiation and tendering skills.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Proven interpersonal, leadership and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
  • Self‑motivated, result‑oriented, calm under pressure and adaptable to dynamic environments.
