Team Overview And Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a passionate professional to be our IMR Sales Manager with commercial acumen and at least 3‑5 years of technical solution sales or project sales experience. You will join some of the world’s boldest and most impactful energy‑transition projects. The Inspection, Maintenance and Repair (IMR) team delivers repair and maintenance services as a stand‑alone SLA or part of an EPCI package and is part of the Transmission Segment, specifically the Submarine Power Cable business managing EPCI projects for Offshore Wind, Interconnection, and Power‑from‑Shore applications.

As IMR Sales Manager you will lead the tendering process, manage proposals, support the Commercial Organization, oversee strategic accounts, develop new accounts, and execute sales strategies. You will present solutions, negotiate contracts, maintain client relationships, and lead multidisciplinary teams through tendering, negotiation, and contract closing.

IMR Sales Manager Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the tendering process, communicate strategy, and keep the team focused on key objectives.
  • Lead contract negotiations.
  • Deliver annual sales targets and exceed sales budgets for assigned customers and projects.
  • Track and manage the IMR sales opportunity pipeline from project development to contract closure.
  • Conduct customer visits to understand challenges and needs.
  • Prioritize opportunities with the best conversion potential to support the Business Unit’s forward strategy.
  • Provide commercial recommendations for proposals reflecting market conditions.
  • Develop, establish, and manage regular reports on sales, market, and competitor activity.
  • Reinforce and protect the Prysmian Brand image.
  • Maintain positive corporate client relationships through effective communication.
  • Resolve disputes internally and externally as needed.
  • Support project managers on commercial matters and client inquiries during project execution.
  • Manage handover to execution teams.
  • Define and implement improvement actions from lessons learned.
  • Foster an effective working relationship between Sales and other business functions.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering (preferred Electrical/Mechanical) or Economics or a scientific discipline.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel; VBA is a real asset.
  • Ability to manage complex price lists and variable cost structures.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.

  • Previous experience in a similar role and preferably in EPCI companies.
  • Experience with cable installation (submarine and/or land) or repairs is a strong plus.
  • Knowledge of basic sales and project management concepts.
