A luxury hotel chain in Italy is looking for a passionate Sales & Events Executive to develop the Italian market and manage the execution of small, high-end events. The ideal candidate will have a degree in hospitality or similar, at least 2 years of relevant experience, and fluency in Italian and English. You will work to build client relationships and ensure excellence in event execution while supporting sales targets.

Join Corinthia Rome, the new opening that redefines luxury and contemporary hospitality in the heart of the Eternal City.

We are looking for a passionate and driven Sales & Events Executive to support the development of the Italian market and manage the sales and execution of small, high-end events—delivering excellence, client satisfaction, and strong commercial results.

About the Role
  • Develop the Italian market across all segments (corporate, leisure, small groups, local associations), identifying opportunities, nurturing leads, and converting them into successful contracts.
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of direct clients, local agencies, and partners, building long-lasting and trusted relationships.
  • Prepare tailored proposals, negotiate terms, and coordinate the operational delivery of small events such as corporate dinners, product launches, and private celebrations.
  • Work closely with operational teams to ensure flawless event execution and uphold the highest Corinthia standards.
  • Promote additional services (F&B, room upgrades, meeting spaces) and contribute to achieving revenue targets for the Italian market.
  • Keep the CRM up to date and support the Director of Sales with reports, forecasts, and performance analysis.
About You
  • Education: Degree in hospitality, economics, tourism, or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Sales or Events roles within the hospitality industry; experience in managing small events is a plus.
  • Technical skills: Proficient in CRM systems (Opera Sales / CRM, Salesforce), advanced Excel, and a solid understanding of hotel pricing dynamics.
  • Languages: Native Italian speaker with fluent English; an additional European language is an advantage.
  • Soft skills: Strong commercial mindset, excellent communication and relationship-building skills, attention to detail, organizational precision, and the ability to perform under pressure.
