Job Overview

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the leading cloud provider, delivering virtualized infrastructure, storage, networking, messaging, and many other services worldwide. The GSC Operations team seeks a Sales Compensation Systems Analyst to support the day‑to‑day administration of the Varicent ICM sales compensation system for sales incentive‑eligible employees globally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Validate data, quantify impact through analysis, and communicate proposed resolutions and timelines to leadership.
  • Identify operational risks and engage necessary stakeholders to frame issues and the desired end states.
  • Communicate effectively with technical teams on root causes of issues and business requirements.
  • Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) for process and system updates.
  • Assist with the distribution of incentive compensation plans, including plan set up, quota shifts, revenue adjustments, etc.
  • Ensure all compensation methodologies, policies, procedures and governance are followed.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as HR, Tax, and Legal to maintain production methodologies, policies, and procedures.
  • Support the global quarterly commission payout process, including manual compensation adjustments, calculations, and approval processes.
  • Create mechanisms to improve the efficiency of processes.
  • Use strong Excel & SQL skills for data analysis and reporting.
Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Microsoft Excel experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce.
  • Experience defining, refining, and implementing sales processes, procedures, and policies.
  • Prior sales compensation experience.
  • Experience with sales ICM tools such as Varicent, Xactly, or similar software.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of finance, business management, and sales operations experience.
  • Experience working within a high‑growth, technology company.

Colorado $88,100 - $154,100 annually
