A leading global filtration solutions provider is seeking a Sales Area Manager for Italy & Iberia in the Medtech Division. Responsibilities include developing customer relationships, identifying business opportunities, and implementing strategies to achieve sales targets. The candidate must have a Master’s Degree, 3-4 years of B-to-B Sales experience, and be fluent in English and Italian. This role requires travel about 40-50% of the time, offering a dynamic environment for growth.

Sales Area Manager Italy & Iberia - Medtech Division

For its HQ in Zola Predosa (Bologna), GVS is looking for a Sales Area Manager Medtech, reporting to Medtech Division Sales Director EMEAI.

The candidate will support the growth of the Italian, Spanish and Portuguese business together with the Regional Medtech Sales team.

Core activities:

  • Develop and cultivate productive long-term relationships with customers.
  • Understand customer’s needs and develop customized solutions
  • Identify new opportunities to build profitable market share and sustainable competitive advantage while creating value for new and existing customers.
  • Develop and implement the commercial strategy able to reach the annual targets
  • Create monthly reports & weekly MOM for customers visit.
  • Provide business analysis including data trends, customer retention and funnel success.
  • Apply knowledge of business climate, market dynamics and trends as well as market potential to develop/implement account plans that drive results.
  • Leverage knowledge of competition to influence business plans.
  • Request to participate to sales events and organize monthly business trips

Job Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in engineering / economics / scientific fields.
  • At least 3-4 years of B-to-B Sales experience.
  • Knowledge of business filtration and / or Medtech industry would be a strong plus.
  • Fluent knowledge of English and Italian languages. Spanish knowledge would be a plus.
  • Prepared to travel up to 40-50% of the time.
