A leading aviation service provider in Italy is seeking a Sales and Station Agent to manage ticket sales, provide passenger information, and coordinate airport operations. Ideal candidates will have a degree or high school diploma, at least a year of experience in aviation or tourism, and excellent communication skills. This role requires the ability to work under pressure and shift availability. Opportunities are available in multiple locations including Rome and Milan.

Competenze

  • Minimum 1-year experience in civil aviation or tourism.
  • Permanent residence permit required.
  • Shift work availability including overnight shifts.

Mansioni

  • Carry out Reservation/Booking, Ticket Sales at the Airport Office.

SALES AND STATION AGENT

Note: Candidates who do not belong to Protected Categories (Law 68/99) will not be considered for further steps.

Job Description:
  1. Carry out Reservation/Booking, Ticket Sales, Information, and Passenger (Operations) services at the Airport Office, including Check-in and Manifest preparation.
  2. Provide information to passengers regarding schedules and fares and ensure proper coordination.
  3. Perform reservation/booking at the counter for passengers.
  4. Issue tickets for Domestic and International flights, MCOs (Manual Change Orders), Excess Baggage Tickets, and process returns and changes.
  5. Handle Endorsement and Rerouting procedures.
  6. Welcome aircraft and coordinate communication between crew, handling agents, catering, cleaning, air traffic, customs, and immigration.
  7. Prepare daily flight documents, place catering orders, and maintain all flight-related records.
  8. Manage post-flight documentation, file records accurately, and perform statistical analysis of flight data.
  9. Ensure lost baggage procedures are followed, coordinate with handling agents, and manage compensation processes if necessary.
  10. Report operational income, costs, financial data, and statistics to relevant IT systems such as SAP, ERP, DOP.
Desired Skills & Experience:
  • Master/Bachelor's degree or at least high school graduation.
  • Permanent residence permit in the respective country (work permits not provided).
  • Minimum 1-year experience in civil aviation or tourism.
  • Ability to handle pressure and stressful situations.
  • Excellent command of English and local languages.
  • Availability to work shifts, including overnight shifts.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to multitask effectively.
  • Good knowledge of major Computer Reservations Systems (Troya or Quickres preferred).
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Sense of responsibility and decision-making ability.
