Cyberwave is seeking a mid-to-senior QA Engineer to own quality across robotics infrastructure, web apps, APIs, and edge software. You will design test plans, validate hardware-in-the-loop workflows with real robots, simulations, and telemetry, and help ensure reliable operation from devices to cloud services.

This role is Milan-based with access to robotics hardware and labs. You will work with engineering, product, and deployment teams to raise quality, test comprehensively, and report

Competenze

• 3+ years in QA, test engineering, robotics engineering, automation, or systems integration.
• Hands-on robotics/automation testing across real hardware and software.
• Experience with ROS or ROS 2, validating nodes, topics, services, and logs.
• Experience with drones, AGVs/AMRs, robotic arms, sensors, or PLCs.
• Ability to write clear test plans, bug reports, and release-readiness checks.
• Comfort with Git, Docker, CLI, APIs, logs, and scripting in Python or TypeScript.
• Able to debug ambiguous failures across software, networks, edge devices, and hardware.
• Proficient English in a fast-moving, international environment.

Mansioni

• Design and execute test plans for Cyberwave infrastructure and products.
• Validate hardware-in-the-loop workflows with real robots and simulations.
• Test ROS/ROS 2 integrations with drones, AGVs/AMRs, and industrial gear.
• Build regression checks for core flows covering setup, telemetry, and deployment.
• Investigate failures using logs, traces, and robot behavior; produce actionable bug reports.
• Collaborate with engineering to define acceptance criteria and release gates.
• Help improve QA infra, test data, and device labs so teams ship confidently.
