Exein S.p.a. is seeking a Robotics Integration Engineer to establish our robotics lab and translate research into working robot-based applications.

You will configure platforms, integrate hardware and software, deploy capabilities, and build demo applications for internal and external showcases. You will work closely with developers to ensure reliable demos, repeatable lab processes, and well-documented workflows from day one.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience integrating robotic, embedded, or mechatronic systems.
• Solid knowledge of Linux, shell tools, and networking.
• Familiarity with ROS/ROS 2, configuring and debugging robotic applications.
• Ability to use Python for scripting and automation; read/adapt Rust and C code.
• Experience with Git, build tools, dependency management, and deploying to physical devices.
• Understanding of how sensors, actuators, compute platforms, and application software interact.
• Methodical troubleshooting with cross-disciplinary collaboration.
• Ability to organize day-to-day lab activities independently and document technical work.
• Good written and spoken technical English.

Responsabilités

• Set up and operate the robotics lab and configure robots, sensors, compute platforms, networking, and test gear.
• Integrate hardware and software, connect sensors/actuators, validate system behavior.
• Deploy new capabilities onto robots, integrating components and models.
• Build demonstration apps, write scripts, integration code, and targeted software adaptations.
• Prepare robots for demos with reliable, repeatable startup/recovery procedures.
• Test and validate on real hardware, evaluate new releases and robot behavior.
• Debug system-level issues across software, hardware, and connectivity.
• Keep lab and demos ready, document configurations and deployment steps.
