Job summary

Bonfiglioli in Rovereto (TN) is seeking a Robotics & Precision Planetary Gearboxes Engineer to design and develop precision gearboxes for robotic and automation markets. You will create 3D CAD models, manage documentation, and customize products to customer needs.

Required: Master in Mechanical Engineering, English fluency, and strong analytical/problem-solving skills. Experience with Siemens NX and SAP is a plus. Located in Rovereto, Italy.

Qualifications

• Master degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Fluent in English.
• Knowledge of GD&T and CAD (Siemens NX preferred).
• Experience with Teamcenter PLM and SAP ERP.
• 2+ years in mechanical design; gearbox design is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop precision planetary gearboxes (PPG) for robotics and automation.
• Create and manage 3D CAD models, drawings, and related documentation.
• Customize existing series based on customer requirements.
• Manage BOM and design changes in PLM (Teamcenter).
• Keep technical specifications, operative instructions, and manuals up to date.
• Calculate gears and mechanical components per international standards.
• Support prototyping, testing and validation activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
