Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care on a 4C cardiac-focused unit, following the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process. You will be responsible for coordinating patient care with interdisciplinary teams and safeguarding patient rights and confidentiality.

The position is dayshift, 7a-7p, with comprehensive benefits and educational support. Requirements include graduation from an accredited RN program, active RN licensure (or compact), BLS

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
• RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• BLS certification, or successful completion within 30 days of hire.
• Physical ability to push/pull/lift up to 50 pounds; prolonged standing and walking.

Mansioni

• Provide patient care using Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments while ensuring patient rights and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
• Physical requirements/demands:
  • Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
  • Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift
  • Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties

Unit Information

4C- serves the medical cardiac population by managing chronic and acute onset diseases while balancing the need for telemetry and cardiac management. The types of patients we serve are those with multisystem management needs such as heart failure, respiratory distress, unmanageable dysrhythmias, pneumonia, sepsis, COPD, diabetes and gastro-intestinal conditions. We also coordinate management of patients needing cath lab, angio, dialysis, outpatient infusion/chemo, and anti-coagulation therapies.
