Reports to: Head of Buying & Retail

We are looking for a passionate and organized Retail Operations Manager to lead the daily operations of our Indigo Luna stores in Bali—currently in Canggu, Uluwatu, and Ubud, with more locations to come.

Reporting to the Head of Buying & Retail, this person will ensure that every store operates smoothly, meets sales and service targets, and delivers an exceptional brand experience for every customer. You will lead and support the Stores Teams, manage the staff, store performance, and efficiency, and implement best practices to ensure consistency across all locations.

This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, loves connecting with people, and finds joy in turning purpose and beauty into operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Store Operations Management
    • Oversee the daily operations of all Indigo Luna stores in Bali, ensuring smooth execution and high standards across locations.
    • Monitor store performance metrics (sales, conversion, UPT, ATV, stock loss, etc.) and implement actions to reach targets.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, operational guidelines, and brand standards.
    • Plan and coordinate staff schedules to guarantee proper coverage and efficiency.
    • Conduct regular store visits to review execution, operations, and team engagement.
    • Deliver in‑store training sessions for selling techniques, together with key store processes (replenishment, minimum standards of maintenance, etc).
    • Ensuring an optimal customer service in store, leading the staff in any customer‑related matters if needed (complaints, returns, exchanges, etc).
    • Lead and develop the three‑store team leaders, providing coaching, structure, and motivation.
    • Promote a positive and empowering team culture that reflects Indigo Luna’s values.
    • Identify training needs and organize programs focused on sales techniques, customer experience, and product knowledge.
    • Manage performance evaluations, lead recruitment for store positions, and ensure a consistent onboarding process across stores.
    • Work closely with Store Leaders to drive sales performance and ensure a warm, authentic customer experience in every store.
    • Support the implementation of retail sales initiatives, promotions, and events developed with the marketing team.
    • Ensure customer feedback is gathered, analyzed, and shared with relevant departments to improve service and product offerings.
    • Guarantee the Visual Merchandiser’s guidelines are followed.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Ensure operational procedures are clear, efficient, and consistently applied (cash handling, stock replenishment, and alignment with in‑store layouts).
    • Collaborate with the Merchandiser and Visual Merchandiser to ensure product availability and correct replenishment.
    • Identify opportunities to improve systems and processes to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs.
    • Lead the opening of new stores—from operational setup to training and store readiness.
    • Reporting on the efficiency of staff performance and KPIs (conversion rate, tickets per day, etc).
    • Collaborate closely with the Head of Buying & Retail to align store operations with overall retail and product strategies.
    • Act as the communication bridge between HQ and store teams, ensuring clarity and alignment and consistency across all retail operations.
About You
  • 8+ years of experience in Retail Management or Multi‑store Operations in Bali, ideally within fashion or lifestyle brands.
  • 5+ years of experience managing and developing teams, with a proven ability to motivate, support, and build strong team dynamics.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate teams across multiple locations.
  • Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills with great attention to detail.
  • Data‑driven mindset, with experience analyzing sales and operational KPIs.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to connect and inspire.
  • Passion for sustainability, conscious living, and the Indigo Luna brand philosophy.
  • Based in Bali and available to travel frequently between stores.
