About the role

The Restaurant Guest Relations is an essential member of the Food & Beverage team dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests. By nature of the position, the Restaurant Guest Relations is the guest's first impression of the restaurant and has extensive knowledge of the concepts and menus of the Food & Beverage outlets, menu ingredients and guest preferences.

What you will do
  • Provide an enjoyable, expertly served beverage or dining experience conforming to Four Seasons standards of excellence for quality, professionalism and friendliness.
  • Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
  • Greet guests promptly, courteously, graciously with eye contact, and a smile.
  • Manage guest reservations and respond promptly to client inquiries and special requests via email and telephone, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience.
  • Take reservations using the Hotel software, review the daily reservation book and seat guests with or without reservations according to their preferences.
  • Ensure guests' names and preferences are recorded according to Four Seasons standards.
  • Organize the menus for each service to ensure quality, condition and appearance.
  • Ensure to have a complete working knowledge of the menus and be familiar with server stations, their daily assignments, their personal timing patterns and their maximum workload capacity.
  • Support the F&B Team with other service tasks when needed.
What you bring
  • Education: High school education or equivalent experience
  • Experience: Must have a minimum of one year food service experience in a luxury environment
  • Must possess excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Must possess a confident outgoing personality, a can-do approach to any request and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Flexibility, and team work approach are required
  • Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the Italian and English language.
  • This position requires continuous standing for 8 hours.
  • Travel required: None.

Schedule & Hours:

This position is based at the Four Seasons Hotel Firenze and the contract is full time.
