A leading oil and gas company in Italy is seeking a Senior Engineer with expertise in reservoir studies and petroleum engineering. Responsibilities include executing reservoir studies and implementing 3D reservoir modeling. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field and has strong technical skills, particularly in reservoir numerical modeling. This position is based in Milan or Parma with potential EU travel.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering/Geo-energy or related fields.
• Sound experience in the Reservoir & Petroleum Engineering sector.
• Good level of Italian and English (written and spoken).

Mansioni

• Execution of reservoir studies and implementation of 3D reservoir modelling.
• Support in the preparation of production reporting and annual production budget.
• Technical evaluation of production scenarios.

Aims International Italia Società Benefit is part of the Gas Plus Group, a leading independent integrated natural gas operator in Italy, appointed to manage a major onshore gas field development and contributing to offshore gas projects in Romania.

Responsibilities

• Execution of reservoir studies and implementation of 3D reservoir modelling.
• Support in the preparation of production reporting and annual production budget.
• Execution of technical evaluation of production scenarios.
• Evaluation of reservoir and well performances.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering/Geo‑energy (preferably) or in Mining, Environmental, Hydraulic or Mechanical Engineering.
• Sound experience in the Reservoir & Petroleum Engineering sector or in engineering and technology consulting companies operating in this field.
• Good level of Italian and English (written and spoken).
• Technical skills in reservoir numerical modeling (Eclipse/Petrel package).
• Experience in data management and ability to prepare technical reports.
• Experience in designing, supervising and interpreting tests and monitoring well performances.
• Experience in gas field management and production optimization processes.

Location

Milan or Parma district, with possible business trips to other EU countries.
