Research Assistant II / Senior Technical Assistant – Community Child Health Unit

Position within the Department of Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine, University of Hong Kong.

Work type: Full‑time, one‑year temporary position with possibility of renewal based on performance, commencing as soon as possible.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist with data collection for a large‑scale community health project in collaboration with universities and non‑government organisations.
  • Prepare reports and presentations.
  • Liaise with stakeholders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Work irregular hours, including weekends and public holidays, as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above preferably in health‑related or science disciplines.
  • Experience in health research or statistics is a definite advantage.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
