Overview

Our Industry & Energy Technology (IET) team provides industry-leading products and services that optimize the extraction, production, and processing of energy. We help a diverse range of customers across the value chain to reduce operating costs and improve productivity. Our team plays an integral role by helping the business plan for the future.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting maintenance execution in the service shop including inspection and disposition of components.
  • Dis-positioning activities, ensuring the latest shop practices have been followed, reporting outstanding recurrent findings (Leading indicators) to the repair engineering teams.
  • Supporting operational targets such as the Turn Around Time.
  • Supporting risk-based evaluation and risk-based mitigation action definitions.
  • Preparing technical documentation supporting internal reviews of the project being accountable for the applicable action items.
  • Leading technical investigations and Root Cause Analysis activities on gas turbine components.
  • Supporting Development of repair and inspection technologies, process qualification, and industrialization. Related program deliverables to repair facilities.
  • Applying existing technologies, approaches, methodologies in new combinations to design new products, systems or processes.
Qualifications
  • Have a bachelor’s in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Have in-depth working experience in a turbo machinery service shop.
  • Have previous, relevant experience working on Aero/Aviation Derivative Gas Turbines.
  • Have previous experience developing and managing technical investigations.
