Scopic seeks a Technical Product Engineer for a fully remote position. You will own large features, working from vague goals to shipped software with minimal hand-holding.
Expect rapid iteration, independent UX judgments, and a data-driven approach to product decisions. Ideal candidates have 4-5+ years of software development experience, fluency with AI-assisted workflows (Claude Code, Codex), and a full-stack mindset.
Begin a career with one of the world's largest virtual companies where you have flexibility and space to grow, just as we have been able to thanks to our team. Use the latest tools and technology to produce your best work and enjoy remuneration that's reflective of your skills and experience.
This is a remote position. We're looking for a Technical Product Engineer - a developer with high agency, strong product sense, and the ability to take a large, loosely-specified problem and run with it. This isn't a role for someone who needs every ticket spelled out. You'll be handed whole features or problems, not tasks, and trusted to figure out the right approach, make the call, and ship - then tell us what you did and why.
Your starting rate is negotiable depending on your skills and experience. This is an hourly, independent contractor position. Compensation is based solely on hours worked. As an independent contractor role, this position does not include PTO. Compensation is paid monthly via wire transfer.
Scopic offers equal opportunity. We value diversity and do not discriminate based on race, religion, color, marital status, national origin, gender, veteran status, sexual orientation, age, or disability status.
