TFS HealthScience is seeking a Freelance Senior Clinical Research Associate (0.4 FTE) to support ophthalmology studies from home in Italy. The role involves on-site or remote monitoring, protocol compliance, and collaboration with sponsors and study teams.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of independent monitoring experience, GCP/ICH knowledge, and fluency in English. Travel up to 60-80% may be required depending on study needs and country locations.

Competenze

Bachelor’s Degree in life science or nursing or equivalent.
>5 years of independent on-site monitoring experience and at least 1 year experience as an unmasked monitor.
At least 1 year Ophthalmology experience preferred, retina indication is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Fluent in English and local language; strong communication skills.

Mansioni

Monitor on-site and remote clinical trials in accordance with GCP/ICH and regulations.
Verify informed consent procedures and protocol adherence.
Review CRFs and source documentation for validity and accuracy.
Manage Investigational Product accountability and ISF updates.
Provide timely Monitoring Visit Reports and CAPA actions.
Support eTMF/paper TMF document delivery and site file maintenance.
Assist with project tracking, monitoring plans, and resource management where needed.
