Job summary

Outlier is seeking a freelance OpenClaw Agent Builder to advance autonomous agent technology. Work remotely with flexible hours, earning up to $50 USD per hour. Most experts spend 5–10 hours per week, with potential up to 40 hours as projects scale.

You will write eval rubrics, debug agent traces, and stress test agents while collaborating to integrate live tools and improve system performance. Strong backend and AI automation experience is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in backend engineering, AI automation, or complex systems integration.
• Proven ability to build and maintain production-grade software with modular separation (e.g., distinct services for data parsing, logic processing, and reporting).
• Practical experience building for live, non-mocked environments and handling multi-turn system interactions.
• Outstanding attention to detail and the ability to provide clear, high-density technical feedback on complex system behaviors.
• Nice to have: experience with live tools integration and monitoring.
