Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, is seeking a .NET Developer based in Italy. You will design and build scalable enterprise applications using C#, .NET Core, and RESTful APIs in a modern Microsoft stack. You’ll work in Agile teams, implement microservices, optimize SQL Server performance, and contribute to CI/CD with Azure DevOps and Azure.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using C#, .NET Core, and modern .NET versions.
• Build and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core and Web API.
• Develop and integrate microservices to support modular, scalable, and maintainable application architectures.
• Design, manage, and optimize SQL Server databases, including database structures, queries, and overall performance.
• Use Entity Framework and LINQ to implement efficient data access and processing solutions.
• Apply object-oriented programming principles, established design patterns, and best practices to produce clean, maintainable code.
• Implement secure coding practices and optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Conduct unit testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and code reviews to ensure software quality and resolve technical issues.
• Support application deployment and release processes through CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps.
• Leverage Microsoft Azure services to support cloud-based application development and deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, and contribute to continuous improvement throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Use Git and version control practices to manage source code and facilitate effective team collaboration.
