Job summary

Mercor is hiring a Music Audio Expert - Italian for a remote contract role. You will evaluate AI model output lyrics, write music in the domain language, and score musical training data, with up to 6 months duration and a commitment of 10+ hours per week.

Required are 3+ years in music production or audio engineering, a college degree in music, and native or near-native proficiency in Italian and English. Immediate start preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as a music producer, audio engineer, and/or sound mixer.
• College degree in music, involving both performance, theory, and lyrics.
• Past experience writing lyrical music in the domain language listed in the title.
• Native or near-native proficiency in both Italian and English.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI model output lyrics, voice generation, and other standards in music.
• Score the quality of musical training data to enhance model performance.
• Write music in the domain language listed in the title, ensuring high-quality outputs.
• Understand and follow directions in the English language.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet project deadlines.
