Capgemini Portugal is seeking a Full Stack Java Developer to join our team in Lisbon or Porto, working in a hybrid model. You will refactor Angular/HTML UI, develop responsive UI components, and ensure code quality while integrating with Java/Spring Boot backend services.

The role requires 2+ years of hands-on full-stack experience, strong JavaScript/Angular frontend skills, solid Java/Spring Boot backend expertise, SQL knowledge, Linux/Bash proficiency, and fluent English.

Competenze

• 2+ years of hands-on full-stack development experience.
• Strong skills in JavaScript and Angular on the frontend.
• Solid backend experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Good understanding of SQL, ideally T-SQL.
• Comfortable working with Linux, shell scripting (Bash), and Git workflows.
• English fluent.

Mansioni

• Refactor and modernize existing Angular/HTML UI code.
• Develop new, responsive UI components and pages.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests for the front-end.
• Actively participate in code review, releases, and team meetings.
• Be responsible for code quality and clearance, look for vulnerabilities and suggest improvements.
• Be ready to debug the code to investigate the issues.
• Become familiar with business processes and understand the flow.
