Job summary

Tether seeks a frontend engineer to develop Keet Desktop, its flagship P2P communications app, on the Pear runtime. You will build and refine the UI, ensure performance, and collaborate across time zones to push the boundaries of decentralized communication.

Qualifications include React/Preact, modern JS/TS, and experience with state management and testing. Remote collaboration and strong communication are essential in our globally distributed team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with React/Preact in production-scale apps.
• Strong knowledge of modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, etc.).
• Ability to write modular, well-tested code.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Keet Desktop, the cross-platform P2P app built on Pear.
• Handle UI/UX implementation and performance optimization.
• Contribute to distributed system concepts and P2P technologies.
• Collaborate effectively in a remote, globally distributed team.
