Qualifications

• 3–8 years of professional web development experience.
• Fluency across web eras and legacy layouts.
• Strong command of hand-written HTML and CSS with semantic markup, flexbox and grid.
• Experience using browser DevTools as a regular tool.
• Comfort with command-line tasks like local servers and asset debugging.
• Able to read and understand a page's scripts and DOM impact.
• Excellent written English for task justification.

Responsibilities

• Render a reference page and two candidate replications at 1920×1080 and compare them, state by state.
• Analyze visual fidelity: box model, typography, color, borders, images, z-order, and overflow.
• Read source attempts; grade construction quality and determine true correctness across viewports.
• Test responsiveness; identify defects where navigation or layout breaks at smaller widths.
• Provide evidence-based justifications for preferences with concrete examples.
• Assess whether the task can be completed given the constraints and point out issues.
