Canonical is hiring an Engineering Manager for Sustaining Engineering to lead a distributed team and drive open source software initiatives on Linux/cloud platforms. You will influence culture, delivery strategy, and engineer growth while ensuring high-quality software across the stack from kernel to user space.

The role is globally remote with up to 10% travel and focuses on sustaining engineering, OpenStack, Ceph, Kubernetes, Juju and MAAS, reporting to the regional director.

• Proven experience delivering software in a professional environment.
• Ability to lead and mentor distributed teams.
• Excellent English communication, verbal and written.
• Strong Linux/Ubuntu experience and Open Source mindset.
