ShareTheMeal, working with the World Food Programme, seeks a Data Scientist to transform large datasets into actionable insights and AI-driven solutions that improve fundraising effectiveness and donor engagement. The role is a Regular Consultant (CST) with PSP/IFD responsibility and a remote-first setup (administrative DS in Rome).

• Six years of relevant experience plus a university degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or related quantitative field.
• Proficiency in Python or R required.
• Strong knowledge of statistics and machine learning techniques.
• Experience with NLP, large language models, prompt engineering and AI-driven workflows is a plus.

Mansioni

• Provide data science, ML, and AI services in support of fundraising priorities.
• Collaborate with PSP stakeholders, data owners, product teams, and technical counterparts to translate business needs into analytical solutions.
• Design, train, evaluate, and deploy machine learning and data science models for segmentation, prediction, donor engagement.
• Apply NLP techniques, large language models, prompt engineering, and agentic AI workflows where appropriate.
• Rigorously review model performance and maintain a repository of solutions.
