Job summary

Amazon Italia Transport Srl is seeking a Reliability Maintenance Engineering Area Manager to lead a team of technicians, focusing on safety and high equipment availability. You will train and coach staff, implement preventive maintenance practices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams across the European network.

The role requires technical leadership, the ability to drive process improvements, and engagement with safety programs to ensure a compliant and safe working environment for all

Qualifications

• Technical degree required.
• Experience with compliance and machine safety protocols.
• Experience with automated packaging, sorting, and conveyor equipment.
• Experience using data analysis tools and PLC-based control systems.
• Experience with project management or Kaizen/Lean/Six Sigma.
• Experience with CMMS (maintenance management systems).

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the team, ensuring safe, standard, and efficient work.
• Collaborate with the wider network to harness technical expertise and build solutions.
• Support the Reliability Engineering Manager with Site Safety to implement and audit safety and compliance programs.
• Implement network standards and perform preventive maintenance to ensure high equipment availability.
• Organize training programs to ensure adequate technical coverage for assigned shifts.
• Organize local projects or support EU-level projects as directed.
• Be prepared to work on shift to stay connected with the team.
