Tenova S.p.A. is seeking a Project Engineer to join the Reheating Furnaces team.

The candidate will coordinate with the project manager to align customer requirements with best design options, ensuring savings and contract compliance. Responsibilities include planning engineering activities, participating in kickoff meetings, coordinating information flow across disciplines, performing material and thermal balance, and supporting commissioning and site testing.

Qualificações

• Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• Analytical skills and problem-solving orientation.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the aptitude for working in teams.
• Willingness to travel worldwide to meet the customer and ensure Tenova worldwide office coordination.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken is mandatory.

Responsabilidades

• Plan the engineering activities for process and participate in the overall project planning and scheduling.
• Participate in Kick-off Meetings and other technical meetings with the client.
• Coordinate the flow of technical information between engineering disciplines.
• Material and thermal balance development with internal Excel references.
• Safety analysis of designed installations.
• Develop P&IDs and Functional Descriptions.
• Select equipment and instruments (pumps, fans, heat exchangers, valves, process instruments).
• Develop technical specs for package units and equipment.
• Layout studies and specifications for mechanical equipment in process.
• Oversee outsourced engineering work.
• Describe functions and HMI pages for automation.
• Resolve design issues with client/partners and site.
• Prepare technical specifications and bill of materials for Purchasing/Production.
• Co-operate with PM in supplier search and qualification.
• Verify monthly project progress and implement corrective actions.
• Train client personnel and support commissioning and parameter tuning.
