Regional Sales & Marketing Manager – Energy Automation and Grid Communication System (f/m/d)

This is a high‑impact leadership role focused on driving growth, strengthening customer relationships, and shaping the future of energy automation.

You’ll be part of a dynamic, international team, reporting directly to the Hub Marketing & Sales Manager Europe. This role offers flexibility in location anywhere within Europe. If you enjoy being close to customers and teams, you’ll thrive – expect to travel 30–50% of the time across the region, building relationships and driving business where it matters most.

How You’ll Make An Impact
  • Design and execute regional sales and business development initiatives aligned with global goals, ensuring targets are met with efficiency and precision.
  • Set ambitious sales targets and lead your team to exceed them, implementing improvement plans where needed.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities with both existing and new customers, allocating resources to maximize acquisition success.
  • Coordinate the flow of sales data—leads, orders, contracts—and analyze performance to guide strategic decisions.
  • Build trusted partnerships with key decision‑makers and ensure impactful marketing communications.
  • Achieve volume and product mix targets through smart pricing and margin strategies, while managing costs and negotiating key contracts.
  • Monitor client financials and proactively address contractual risks across channels.
  • Lead the development and execution of sales processes, training programs, and team development initiatives.
  • Organize and empower your team with the right structure, skills, and motivation; foster collaboration and continuous learning across the region.
Your background
  • 10+ years of sales leadership experience, with a strong record of building and guiding high‑performing teams across Europe.
  • Extensive expertise in the electrical and automation sectors, especially Transmission System Operators (TSOs), Power Transmission & Distribution, Substation Automation, and Control & Protection systems.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute multi‑portfolio solution strategies, aligning with the complex needs of utility and infrastructure clients.
  • Skilled in leading virtual and cross‑functional teams within global matrix organizations, fostering collaboration across diverse geographies and business units.
  • Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills enabling effective stakeholder engagement at all levels.
  • Comfortable with and committed to 30–50% travel, ensuring close alignment with regional teams, customers, and leadership across multiple locations.
