Stryker is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead the Extremities business across North and Central Italy, combining commercial ownership with hands-on people leadership. You will build an experienced sales organization, strengthen partnerships with surgeons and hospitals, and lead direct and indirect channels through a growth and transformation phase.

Territory includes North and Central Italy; Milan is preferred.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related discipline.
• 7+ years of professional work experience.
• 5+ years in sales and/or marketing.
• 3+ years of people management experience, including direct or matrix leadership.
• Experience in the medical device industry and operating room environments.
• Proficiency in Italian and English at minimum C1 level.
• Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.

• Lead the team through business and organizational change while partnering cross-functionally to maintain customer service, commercial execution, and employee engagement.

What You Will Do

Required Qualifications

What you will need

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of professional work experience.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience within sales and/or marketing roles.
• Minimum 3 years of people management experience, including direct people management or matrix leadership.
• Previous professional experience within the medical device industry and operating room environments.
• Professional working proficiency in Italian and English at minimum C1 level.
• Previous experience using customer relationship management systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous commercial or leadership experience within Orthopaedic Implants, Trauma, Extremities, or a related surgical portfolio.
• Previous experience managing a combination of direct sales teams and indirect commercial channels, including agents or distributors.

Additional Information

• Territory: North and Central Italy.
• Location: Milan preferred; candidates based in other major Northern Italian cities may also be considered.
• Work arrangement: Field‑based.
• Travel: Approximately 70–80% across the assigned territory.
• Customer presence: Regular presence at hospitals and operating room environments is required.
• Compensation: Annual base salary range of €58,100–€96,800. This role is also eligible for commission and/or bonus, along with Stryker’s comprehensive benefits package.

Italy Pay Ranges

• Italy: €58.100 - €96.800 EUR Annual
