A leading pharmaceutical manufacturing firm is seeking a Regional Account Manager to strengthen the growth of its Engineering Business Unit. Responsibilities include managing the sales process, building customer relationships, and supporting market strategy. The ideal candidate has 5-8 years of sales experience, a Bachelor's degree, and proficiency in Italian and English. This full-time position is based in Piombino Dese, Italy.

Overview

Regional Account Manager (Engineering BU) role at Stevanato Group. This position aims to strengthen the growth of the Engineering Business Unit by achieving assigned targets, managing the sales process, coordinating with internal cross-functional teams, and handling selected customers in line with commercial and distribution policies and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support leadership in deploying the go-to-market strategy, providing commercial insights for assigned clients to drive business growth and process harmonization.
  • Responsible for the performance of the assigned portfolio, with a strong focus on developing new customers in the assigned territory.
  • Independently manage sector penetration activities as agreed with leadership, and collaborate with other sales team members for complex negotiations.
  • Build and maintain effective, long-term partnerships with existing accounts, establishing strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers to strengthen our competitive advantage.
  • Analyze and identify market trends and emerging opportunities to leverage Stevanato Group’s value-added solutions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Economics, Business or Marketing.
  • 5–8 years’ experience in a sales role, ideally in the machinery and equipment market.
  • Proven track record of gaining and maintaining lasting customer relationships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong sense of accountability and commitment.
  • Self-motivated and energetic with a results-focused approach to achieving daily goals/activities.
  • Full proficiency in Italian and English; a third language is a plus.

Type of contract and salary will be based on experience.
