Job summary

MUSC Florence is seeking experienced Emergency or Critical Care Registered Nurses to join our new Rapid Response Team. The role focuses on high‑risk patients, MEWS scoring, and collaboration with bedside nurses to prioritize care.

This position requires an active South Carolina RN license, BLS/ACLS, and prior critical care or emergency department experience. Shift is 7p–7a with on‑site work and strong interdepartmental collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experienced Emergency or Critical Care Registered Nurses sought for Rapid Response Team.
• Active nursing license required (SC).
• BLS and ACLS certifications required or equivalent.
• Previous critical care or ED experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize patient rounds and assessments with bedside nursing collaboration.
• Utilize MEWS scores and patient history to identify high‑risk individuals.
• Respond to Code Blue, Rapid Response, and other clinical evaluation requests.
• Educate staff on MEWS scoring and high‑risk indicators.
