MSC Technology Italy is seeking a Telecommunication Engineer to design, implement, and optimize radio access networks (RAN) with a focus on 3GPP standards across GSM, LTE, and 5G. The role involves supporting deployment and optimization to ensure high performance and reliability of MSC’s mobile infrastructures.

The successful candidate will contribute to evolving MSC’s digital ecosystem by collaborating with Core Network teams and vendors, delivering KPI analyses and technical documentation.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in RAN engineering in telecom operators, system integrators, or network vendors.
• Strong knowledge of 3GPP architecture with hands-on GSM, LTE, and/or 5G technologies.
• Experience using network monitoring tools and KPI analysis for performance management.
• Good understanding of Core Network functions and interfaces (MME, AMF, S1, X2, NG).
• Familiarity with major RAN vendor solutions (Ericsson, Nokia, Huawei) is a plus.
• Analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and cross-functional teamwork.
• Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Mansioni

• Design, implement, and optimize RAN solutions in compliance with 3GPP standards.
• Support the configuration, commissioning, and maintenance of GSM, LTE, and 5G radio access networks.
• Monitor network performance using monitoring tools and identify and resolve performance issues.
• Analyze network behavior, signaling flows, and mobility management to ensure service quality.
• Collaborate with Core Network teams to guarantee seamless integration between RAN and core network functions.
• Perform KPI analysis and drive continuous network optimization initiatives.
• Produce technical documentation and operational reports to support engineering activities.
• Work closely with vendors and technology partners during deployment, testing, and operational phases.
