A leading global technology firm is seeking a motivated individual to work in their R&D department in Genova. This role focuses on modeling for Energy Storage and Microgrid automation control, utilizing expertise in Power Systems and Power Electronics. Preferred candidates will have a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and experience with tools like Matlab Simulink. You shall be working in the research and development department, which is responsible for the control and automation logics relevant to Energy Storage, Microgrid, and Renewable automation product families within the Grid Automation Business Unit – Power Conversion Systems team.
The proposed role is available in the Hitachi Energy Grid Automation offices in Genova / Milan, Italy, and in Seville / Madrid in Spain.
Being part of a global team, you shall interact with the different stakeholders of the organization and Operational units worldwide.
Your focus shall be on the modelling of Hitachi Energy PCS product portfolio (PCS and Automation), with focus on integration of the models into automation control logics, modelling, and simulation tools.
