A leading global energy solutions provider seeks an R&D Project Manager in Lodi, Italy. You will manage the lifecycle of innovative high-voltage technologies aimed at sustainable power solutions. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Engineering and at least 2 years of technical project management experience in the high-voltage or electromechanical industry. Fluency in English is essential, with additional languages being a plus.

As an R&D Project Manager, you’ll drive the development of next-generation products that meet the evolving needs of the power industry.

How you\'ll make an impact
  • Lead Specialized Innovation: Manage the full lifecycle of new product development for oil- and gas-insulated instrument transformers—from concept to market—ensuring excellence in cost, quality, and time-to-market.
  • Drive Technical Collaboration: Coordinate international, cross-functional teams including R&D, engineering, testing, and manufacturing. Work closely with product managers and external partners to align on technical and commercial goals.
  • Ensure Product Excellence: Apply structured development methodologies (e.g., Gate Model), ensure compliance with internal and external standards, and proactively manage technical risks.
  • Support Testing & Validation: Oversee design validation and type testing activities, ensuring robust performance and reliability of high-voltage insulation systems.
  • Communicate & Influence: Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, delivering clear and timely updates to ensure alignment and support.
  • Capture & Share Knowledge: Document lessons learned and ensure knowledge transfer to operational teams and future projects.
Your background
  • Master’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field)
  • 2+ years of experience in technical project management, ideally in the electromechanical or high-voltage equipment industry
  • Experience with oil- or gas-insulated high-voltage products, especially instrument transformers, is highly preferred
  • Familiarity with structured product development processes and tools (e.g., CAD, FEM, PLM, ERP)
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Fluent in English, Italian and Polish are a plus
