Evoca Group, a world-leading producer of professional coffee and vending machines, seeks an R&D Manager for Payment Systems & Digital Solutions. Lead a 3–5 engineer team in developing payment systems and digital solutions across hardware, firmware, mobile, and cloud platforms.

You will define technical roadmaps, coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, and drive projects from concept to market launch while collaborating with external partners.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in R&D, engineering management, or technical leadership roles.
• Experience leading and coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Solid understanding of embedded systems, firmware development, and electronics.
• Ability to read and understand electronic schematics.
• Experience managing complex projects involving hardware, software, mobile, and cloud technologies.
• Strong product-oriented mindset with a global view of system design, customer needs, and business objectives.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Results-driven approach with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience collaborating with external development partners and suppliers.

• Lead and coordinate a multidisciplinary R&D team of 3–5 engineers, fostering technical excellence, collaboration, and professional growth.
• Drive the development of payment systems and digital solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and product strategy.
• Manage Hardware, Firmware, Mobile, and Cloud development projects throughout their complete lifecycle.
• Define technical roadmaps, product architectures, and technology choices in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Coordinate the integration of embedded devices, mobile applications, cloud platforms, and backend services.
• Ensure effective collaboration among Hardware, Firmware, Software, and Product teams to achieve successful product delivery.
• Lead technical problem-solving activities, identifying root causes and driving robust corrective actions
• Manage technical activities performed by external partners and suppliers, ensuring quality, timelines, and compliance with requirements.
• Support product innovation through the evaluation and adoption of new technologies, methodologies, and development tools.
• Oversee project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and execution to ensure project goals are achieved.
