Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Quality Inspector for civil engineering projects based in Milan, Italy. The role focuses on preparing and implementing Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), carrying out on-site inspections and ensuring compliance with drawings, specs and quality requirements.

The successful candidate will join a specialist civils and groundworks team, receive accommodation and a company vehicle, with expensed European travel and clear progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Quality inspection or QA/QC experience within construction, civils or groundworks.
• Confident preparing and implementing Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
• Right to live and work in Italy without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review and implement ITPs for civils, groundworks, concrete and structural works.
• Carry out inspections against approved drawings, specifications and agreed acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate inspection hold points and witness points with site teams and client representatives.
• Check material certification and maintain inspection reports, test records and quality documentation.
• Raise non-conformance reports and follow corrective actions through to completion.
• Compile quality records and support project handover documentation.
• Work full-time in Milan, with European travel as required.
